SUPPORT FOR FRONTLINE WORKERS DURING COVID-19

In addition to providing personal care products to first responders around the world, Eminence Organic Skin Care produced 50,000 government-compliant hand sanitizers to donate to hospitals, medical facilities and essential workers, ensuring we do our part in combating COVID-19.

Voted by Spa Professionals, Eminence was recognized as an industry leader by the International Spa Association (ISPA) for our frontline and essential workers donations initiative, winning the 2021 ISPA Innovate Award in the Philanthropy category.

Since March 2020, Eminence has donated to over 100 hospitals, medical facilities and community organizations. Here are just some of the organizations that Eminence Organics has supported with personal care products and/or hand sanitizers:

Here are just a few of the gratitude notes we’ve received:

Leslie Diep, ICU RN at Desert Springs Hospital:

"Thank you so much for supporting health care workers and Desert Springs Hospital Intensive Care Unit (ICU). [The hospital] was hit hard with COVID-19 patients in the middle of March.... Our nurses are challenged every day, scared for their lives and their family’s lives, stressed, and work tirelessly. Some days we are so busy we cannot take a lunch, or our lunch is cut short… to save [patients]... It has been so emotionally and physically hard that some nurses go home crying.

Nonetheless, some would say we are heroes because we are on the frontlines, but YOU ARE our heroes for taking care of us. You have provided us with amazing… cream for all of us to use on our dry, tired faces after a long shift. We are all so honored to have received your donation. Thank you for reminding us how amazing this community is by coming together during these unprecedented times."

Jacqui Davies, ER Nurse at Rockyview General Hospital:

"I wanted to send an email on behalf of the Rockyview General Hospital emergency room staff for the beyond exceptional donations of night cream and hand sanitizers that were provided to us. I can’t tell you how much we appreciated the generosity of Eminence."

Sarah Greene, Major Gifts Officer at First Responders Children’s Foundation:

"On behalf of First Responders Children’s Foundation, I want to express our heartfelt appreciation for the generous donation from Eminence Organic Skin Care... During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Foundation is meeting the needs of first responders on the front lines who are risking their own health in service to others.

Donations have an immediate, positive, and powerful impact on first responders and the children of those who make sacrifices in service to their fellow citizens. On behalf of everyone at First Responders Children’s Foundation, thank you. We are deeply grateful."

Karen Tsao, Co-Founder of DonatePPE.org:

"It is truly a difficult time for every essential and frontline worker, and we have been working endlessly to help and support those in our community who are in need of protective equipment, as it’s been challenging with all the shortages throughout the world.

We are tremendously grateful for Eminence Organics and thank them for the generous contribution of hand sanitizers, which we were able to distribute to more than 19 health organizations, and support communities throughout the United States who need it most."

FORESTS FOR THE FUTURE

Our Forests for the Future Program, in partnership with the non-profit organization Trees for the Future, helps train farmers in developing countries on how to build productive and sustainable Forest Gardens. We plant a tree for every product sold, enabling the development of these Forest Gardens in rural communities, empowering local people to restore their environment, grow their own food and build a sustainable income and future for themselves, their families and their communities. Passing a milestone of planting over 20 million trees, Eminence is proud to be able to continually contribute to the development of these Forest Garden Projects.

It is our commitment to plant a tree for every retail product we sell.

CANCER RESEARCH

Cancer research has always been close to our hearts, as our president, Boldijarre Koronczay, is a survivor of childhood leukemia.

Eminence is a proud supporter of breast cancer research and has contributed hundreds of thousands of dollars towards research efforts since 2007. For every Sweet Red Rose Whip Moisturizer we sell, we donate $5 to breast cancer foundations. Our Team-members also participate in the Annual Canadian Cancer Society Run for the Cure (benefiting breast cancer initiatives) every year, with the exception of 2020 when COVID-19 prevented a live event.

We are also regular contributors to the Canadian Cancer Society and children’s health foundations across North America through monetary donations and product gifting for various fundraising events.

OTHER CHARITIES

We contribute to several other charities throughout the year, and are continuously looking for areas of need where we can offer our support.
